Our absolute super star Belle gave us a little insight to her day to day life and speedy journey to becoming one of the busiest gals going!
What inspired you to become a model?
It’s always been something I’ve thought about going into. I’ve danced from the age of 3 and always loved the idea of creating characters through dance, so I guess it’s similar it’s portraying a character and putting on a performance really 🙂 When I started at J’adore, I had no idea what I was doing and lacked the confidence, the team have worked with me so hard and now I’m a completely independent and confident. I just enjoy absolutely all of it, the teams you meet and the whole working day from start to finish, absolute dream career!
What were your biggest fears about joining the industry and how do you feel now?
I guess I was scared of not feeling good enough and taking things personally but I’ve completely changed my mind. I’m much more confident in myself and every person I’ve met so far involved in the industry has been really genuine and kind. You learn to accept your flaws and highlight your positives, you’re always going to get people in life who try to put you down so it’s just learning to stand on your own and know your worth.
What tips would you give to someone looking to start out their modelling career?
I’m still learning a lot of things myself, but I’d say search around at different agencies if you’re looking to get into it and make sure you feel happy and comfortable! I found my dream agency with J’adore, my journey has been crazy up to now and just couldn’t imagine being with anyone else!
What would be your favourite modelling job so far?
I loved doing the Public Desire campaign, it gave me a real insight to another area of a brand and the styling was gorgeous! Also working for HotMess was really really cool! It was an all female team which I thought was really cool, GIRL POWER haha
What’s your daily skin care routine?
I try to keep it really simple, if I mess with my face too much I notice that I break out! It’s mainly micellar cleanser, warm water and a standard face cream.
What do you get upto at the weekend?
I don’t really go out a lot, so you would probably will find me with my cats in my bed watching film… ( Am I a loser?)
Are you planning on going to any festivals this year?
YES! I am obsessed with festivals, I feel like you can just be so wacky and experimental with your clothes/makeup. I’m going to Parklife and Creamfields and desperate to go to Garden Party Part 2 in Leeds, actually I might just book it right now!
What’s the best book you’ve re or fave film you’ve watched recently?
This is really hard because I read and watch films A LOT, I think To Kill a Mocking Bird will always be one of my favourites. Me Before You is amazing too, saddest film known to man but who doesn’t love a good cry at a soppy film haha
What’s your guiltiest pleasure and fave food?
CHOCOLATE! Or naan bread; very random I know but I’m obsessed with plain naan bread on its own haha. My fave food is probably gonna have to be spaghetti – anything Italian actually.
Give us your top tips on staying healthy and looking great.
I’m really obsessed with the gym and boxing at the moment, also lots of water is so important I’ve learnt! I used to find this really hard but if you keep pushing yourself & see the results you start to find a love for it
