Paris on film

The absolute dream face Paris popped in for a long overdue visit. After balancing college and modelling we finally get her full time for an exciting year ahead! Find out all the juicy details about Paris, her ambition’s and passion’s!

What inspired you to become a model?

I’ve done acting for a while and had been approached a couple of times for various agencies, but never went forward with it. My friend Sonny is also with J’adore and recommended them to me, after a bit of research into the agency, I fell in love with the fresh look and style the agency creates with their models and the fact that they celebrate you for your individuality.

What were your biggest fears about joining the industry and how do you feel now?

I think the biggest part for me is definitely what people would say about my body shape. I’m no way near big but have a bigger bum and boobs then most models and was worried this would be an offput to clients but really if anything it’s a bonus. You’re not always going to work for every client but that’s just what being a model is about! Also with my acting I found clients in the acting industry were actually worse you sort of get type cast quite easily.

What would be your favourite modelling job so far?

Oooh that’s a hard one, I love all the jobs I do. It would probably have to be LaModa, the music was super cool on set and I think that helps you get into it and just relax a bit more. They we’re really edgy and all the team were boss.

What’s your daily skin care routine?

Moisturizer – It’s the only thing I use, the only thing I’ve ever used and that’s all I’d ever advise. I have been blessed with such good skin but I think that, along with drinking plenty of water is the key!

Are you planning on going to any festivals or holidays this year?

I’d love to go to Wireless Festival this year, it’s amazing –  so will hopefully get some tickets. Apart from that I really want to get college out of the way and focus on my modelling career, completely emerge myself in modelling.

What’s the best book you’ve read or fave film you’ve watched recently?

It would have to be Fences with Viola Davis and Denzel Washington. I think coming from an acting background I have massive respect and awe for an actor who can do something so detailed and abstract.  The film is based on a play, so was developed for the screen and solely focused on the actors telling the story in the same location through acting. It’s incredible, you definitely should watch it.

What’s your guiltiest pleasure?

Socks and slides – there it is I said it, I think I’m just a geek when it comes to ugly clothing. My boyfriend always tells me off too about wearing them but I can’t help it, I’m just all about comfort and style. 😉

When did you last tell a white lie?

I don’t really tell white lies to be honest, I just tell people the truth that’s not always the best thing to do, some people love it about me and others hate it!

What’s your favourite food?

I like everything really but would probably have to say sweet potatoes – sweet potato everything: Sweet potato mash, fries, jacket just in every form really!

Give us your top tips on staying healthy and looking great

Plenty of water, lots of citrus fruit that has always helped with my skin. I got my first spot the other day and it was a genuine celebration!

What were you like at school and were you always planning on becoming model?

I was super loud and super political haha! Any injustice in the school I would be the first to stand up and say, I basically lived in the headteacher’s office. Should of been head girl!

Tell me one thing no one knows about you?

I can play the trumpet! I don’t play anymore but if you just whipped one out now I would totally play it for you!
